Web space : The first thing you need in order to post your site is Web space. When you signed up with your ISP, you should've gotten some space for your web pages. Site promotion : After you've set up your web site you now need visitors. The best promotion is good content, of course. People tend to see first the title of a web page in the search results, so choose an appropriate title for you page. Pick carefully the words for the META tags. Poorly written meta tags can be just as bad as the total absence of meta tags. Also bear in mind that the words you have in your meta tags should appear on that page, since some search engines penalize web pages that contain keywords that cannot be found on the page itself. Try to get as many links pointing at your pages as possible.
